The Monkey Tree Hotel was established during the golden age of Mid-century modern design in Palm Springs. Since its inception, the hotel’s many owners have slowly strayed away from its essence. With such a rich history in vintage design, I wanted to reinvigorate the core values of the hotel in a playful and exciting way, while still maintaining its rooted connection to the era of its creation. Combining desert retro with a touch of contemporary fun, this new identity rejuvenates the visitor through a lively and responsive branding system.
